New ✨: Create user as a Tenancy Manager and non-email username accounts

As an alternative to sending invites, Tenancy Managers can now create a user and share the credentials with the person that will use the account. The recipient can then use those credentials to log in and set a new password.

New ✨: Enforce passkeys

A new Tenancy policy that forces all users in the Tenancy to create a passkey at registration or at next log in if they have not already done so.

New ✨: Tenancy-level notification banner

A new Tenancy policy allows a message to be presented at the top of the interface for all Hubs in the Tenancy.

New ✨: Fusion Hubs

A completely new type of Hub has been unleashed!!! Focused on project and record management use cases, the workgroups are based on the DekkoSecure Fusion architecture, which combines files and folders with customisable attributes. Sharing is also based on groups, with the ability to do instant retroactive sharing for new Hub members.

Updated ⚡️: Hub dropdown aesthetic

Hub selection is refreshed and more organised, grouping Hubs by Tenancy and showing a clear distinction between Core Hubs and Fusion Hubs.

New ✨: Attribute classification detection

Microsoft Purview classifications embedded in file metadata are now used to automatically set classification against files during upload.

New ✨: Listing Only sharing permission

New ✨: Automatic file classification detection for AU marking standards (when Enforce Attributes policy is ON)

New ✨: Folder ownership setting and Owner column (requires 1920px wide screen)

New ✨: Create a fillable form from a PDF You can now set up a form document that can be filled by a user in one of your Hubs! The interface will automatically detect any embedded form fields in the file, or you can manually add fields on a file that doesn’t have them. Responses are recorded in a easy-to-review table.

Updated ⚡️: Tenancy Manager interface The administration dashboard - the Tenancy Manager - has undergone a complete user interface overhaul. The new interface also contains many new features for user administration, Hub storage analysis, traffic activity review and audit log filtering.

New ✨: Guest access links

Folders can now be shared with unregistered users via an expiring link, with optional upload access for recipients. Learn more.

New ✨: De-identified sharing policy

Internal user names and email addresses presented to external users in a Tenancy can now be replaced with aliases set by a naming convention. Learn more.

New ✨: Passkey support for non-SSO authentication

Users with a Standard (non-SSO) account can now set up password-less authentication using passkeys. Passkeys can be stored on your device, synced through a password manager, or bound to a hardware key (e.g. Yubikey). An optional hardware attestation setting is also available to prevent the use of password managers or non-certified hardware for passkey storage.

New ✨: Region restriction policy

Access to all Hubs in a Tenancy can now be prevented via IP-based location detection.

New ✨: 2FA setup helper

Users configuring 2FA for the first time can sometimes have trouble entering the correct passcode if their mobile phone time is out of sync with their computer time. I this is the case, the setup page now shows advice to rectify this problem.

New ✨: Data expiration policy

A new Tenancy policy has been introduced that sets a maximum file lifetime set in days. After a file reaches the limit it is permanently erased.

Account access, account creation and the 2FA set up page shown for Tenancies where 2FA is enforced have been refreshed:

New ✨: Central backup account policy

Alongside the Central Access Admin policy, the Tenancy Manager now has a policy that allows a data backup account to be set for an organisation.

New ✨: Hub creation in the Tenancy Manager interface

Tenancy Managers can now create a new Hub while they’re in the admin dashboard, in addition to the original method:

Updated ⚡️: New attribute schemes for content marking

The Tenancy Policy for content classification now supports Australian protective markings, export and non-export controlled labels, and Canadian protected information markings:

New ✨: Upload Accelerator App

The the Upload Accelerator App is a lightweight installable companion tool that dramatically improves upload performance for very large files. Learn more at the dedicated how-to page.

Updated ✨: Faster uploads on the web app

Supporting super-quick uploads with the Accelerator App comes along with the added benefit of a boost to upload performance on the web app, too.

New ✨: Script-based installation for DekkoDrive

In addition to standard installation via an executable file, DekkoDrive can now be installed using a simple script, supporting environments where devices are provisioned using a standardised image or endpoint management platform. Learn more at the DekkoDrive how-to page.

New ✨: Export Hub list

The “Hub” view in the Tenancy Manager can now be exported as a CSV file:

New ✨: dekkosecure.com has been refreshed with new content, including a signature background removal tool - perfect for tidying up your scanned or photographed signatures before uploading them to your DekkoSecure account!
